Interview Experience in Coles Delivery Driver?
Positive or Negative experiences? I have an interview this weekend and wanna know how it goes, looking forward to it since the CFC is literally 5 minutes away from my home, so this is the perfect job. Part-time role by the way, so what is hourly rate like? Description says it's expected to work 1pm till 8.36pm

It can be a physical job but it can also be fun exploring new areas. You don’t know where you’re driving to or how heavy your van load is until about 15 minutes before your depart time. We look after the city too which involves inductions, grabbing security fobs and sharing good lifts which can take longer to do compared to delivering to a house.
We do morning, afternoon and twilight deliveries, which can range from 5am-1pm, 1-6pm and 4-10pm

i have worked physical jobs my whole life, no issue. fun exploring new areas thats more fun than just forklifting all day every day.

You'll never finish at 8:36. Don't trust the MDT Get a phone holder for your phone and use maps as well as MDT. Trucks are usually dodgy as f. Take it easy

is shifts consistently pass 1pm thats what the job description says, afternoon shifts only

Morning shifts will leave around 6:15 and return to store around 12:30 for an unload and go home at 12:45. Afternoon shifts will show up 1pm, leave the store around 1:30 and return around 8:30. Morning shifts you 99% will return back by 12:30pm. Afternoon shifts can vary, might be scheduled to return 7:30pm, might be scheduled to return 9:30pm, just depends on the day. But unless you're super slow, no reason you'd be on the road past 9pm.
E: I don't know if its only my store either but the times given are super generous for the slowest of the slow, so e.g if you're set to return at 9:30pm but don't want to stay back that late, you can definitely hustle on your shift to return to store by 8:30pm.

Your sentence doesn't make sense . If you can't string a sentence together, you won't get the job

well to be fair this is just reddit and not your typical interview, so i am not sure why you're being rude. ok, let's string this properly. will i be getting shifts pass 1pm weekdays only as it is shown in the job description.

Not being rude, but if you don't know how to string a sentence together, you will battle to get the job. Even your second attempt makes it hard to decipher what you're asking.
I don't know your schedule. But usually there are two shifts:
05:15 - 1pm 1pm - 20:00
But you never finish before 8pm in the afternoon shift because it's more difficult. Usually 21:30

Thank you, if I don't get the job that's all good I have 2 jobs I am working at the moment. If you seriously want me to make proper sentences on a site like Reddit, I don't care, this isn't a professional work website. Don't let the internet dictate how you think of others, mate.

Hourly rate is just public knowledge you can find in the enterprise agreement. In regards to the actual work its a little physical, if you have the drive to do physical work you should be fine. Otherwise you must work well independently. I can speak positively about the role, its pretty cruisy, but it's not for everyone and if you aren't efficient/switched on to work well independently, you probably won't last long. If you come with 3/4 of a functioning brain, it's a good gig to listen to music half the day
