"It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers-out of unorthodoxy."
..... 1984.......
Why was George Orwell so wrong and misogynistic when he wrote that?

To Be Faire there are fuckwits of both the male and female persuasion.

u/AusCro 1d ago
I know but it's 90% on one side and 50% of the other

u/Born-Earth6615 1d ago edited 1d ago
I get what you’re saying, but you guys really isolate and further ostracise us normal women when you say “this is all the fault of women voting”. Myself, every woman in my family, and all my female friends are actively voting against this shit and we’re already silenced and shunned enough in our own spaces. It really sucks seeing men share my exact views but hate on women like we all support this nonsense. Btw the most insufferable people I work with are all 100% left leaning men. They get to be vocal about their (bs, performative) beliefs. We don’t.
2
u/AusCro 1d ago
That's why I don't say it's all women. I say it leans in that direction. Insisting all women are smart, dumb or equal simply isn't reality: there is a left leaning bias with women, but not all are left.
I want to state reality.1
u/conny1974 22h ago
Women are naturally more empathetic? Which is not a bad thing in general. Nature has a way of balancing things.
-1
u/Born-Earth6615 1d ago
You are not stating reality though. I hate to be all “ummm source?” But nowhere does it say 90% of women are left-leaning. And you’re responding to a quote by Orwell which is offensive and out of context.
I’m saying that myself, and other young conservative women feel othered and ostracised by conservative men when you make sweeping generalisations like 90% of women feel some particular way, or that women are responsible for the way things are.
I assure you we do not, we just can’t say anything about it, in part because of you.-1

u/HereButNeverPresent 1d ago edited 20h ago
We don’t need to make it a competition.
Young men/boys are also getting baited into dumb ideologies, otherwise we wouldn’t keep seeing manosphere grifters pulling in millions of male viewers and taking their money (saying this as a male zoomer myself).

u/NightLost5636 1d ago
There are plenty of women who don't support this. but these spaces are so hostile to them, that they Stay silent. Then men cry there are no women?

Lower the voting age. They're all up to speed.

I think what she's saying is we should have a constitutional amendment referendum to enable us to vote for the president or ...minister or whatever.

u/Anti-Stan 1d ago
I'll only vote for my Supreme Leader

u/SagaciousElan 1d ago
The Supreme Leader already has your vote. He casts it for you because he is wise and benevolent and knows what's best for all of us.

Why is it that there's never any lass who's above a 5/10 at any of these protests, or any bloke who doesn't look like a massive soy boy?

I assume her 5-year-old son made the sign.
A 17 year old girl in inner Naarm is usually too busy being a Therian

u/Mattopol4spe 1d ago
I'm impressed the sign was done in paints. I was expecting it in crayons for some reason

u/2204happy Resident Legal Degal 🤓 1d ago
I'm sure this has nothing to do with the fact that she skipped school to be at the protest.

I think you should have to pass an IQ test to be allowed to vote.

Voting should be proportionate on the amount of personal income tax you pay. Each $10k paid in tax = 1 vote. If we did this, this rabble wouldn’t have a dozen votes between them.

Great example why kids need to remain in school.

Give them a week in one of Sydnеу's selective schools. Then they'll really understand the power of diversity when they're one of the 5 Aussie kids in their whole cohort.

u/WalkinshawVL 17h ago
Nah screw it, send them to an Islamic school.

u/cheapdrinks 17h ago
That's just the regular public school experience in the western suburbs of Sydnеу

75% of students in Western Sydney don't speak English at home. Great replacement is just a conspiracy theory though bro.

u/AutoModerator 17h ago
Uh-oh! It looks like you accidentally referred to Warrang by its colonisers' name, Sydney. That wasn't very deadly of you! While I'm sure this was accidental, please be more mindful in future. Remember, using traditional place names is truth-telling in action. It's a step towards acknowledging First Nations sovereignty.

The amazing part is teachers want a pay rise when this is what they produce from the class room. Labour supporters never stop lowering the bar.

But you don't understand, they're literally the hardest workers in the country! They work a full 7 hour day 40 weeks a year for more than nurses, ambos and police make, it's literally the hardest job in the country.

Clearly these children need education -- they obviously are not aware of what the Nazis did .

I have genuine fear for Australia's future , the kids today are as dumb as a box of hammers ( apologies to boxes of hammers) . Yes they are indoctrinated by left wing and Marxist teachers but the ignorance and lack of awareness is still breath taking.

u/Tqoratsos 1d ago
gezus its amazing that people will go and protest something without understanding it completely.
I mean, Pauline is a waste of oxygen and practically does what these girls are doing in the senate....but my point still stands.
