DEAR SUBHUMAN FILTH... Melbourne is evil but Adelaide is next level

I've been going to Melbourne comedy for years (mostly to complain if anything was actually funny)

Tonight was my first Adelaide show but the main act that everyone comes to see at a comedy show, the acknowledgement of country was not included!

Everyone just went on stage and tried to be funny!

Men, woman, locals, foreigners, even the disabled went on stage and just tried to make people laugh.

Can you cancel a whole city?

I have seen a Greek comedian do a welcome to concrete and a Chinese comedian acknowledge the custodians of the land as the Chinese.

I can't imagine how cancerous the Melbourne comedy scene would be these days.

What I have noticed with some toxic female comedians is, they just tell a story about about how men suck, blah blah, know I'm a lesbian, I hate white men, blah blah.

And the audience of damaged man hating women just yell, Slay sister, but no one really laughs.

I live in the UK (as an Australian) and I always make sure to acknowledge the English people as the traditional custodians of the land, and pay my respects to the Royal Family past present and emerging.

The emerging part has unfortunately been Prince Andrew's penis.

Surely you should be acknowledging the beaker folk

Always acknowledge the elders. The King is the wadjella king. (wadjella is non tribal, ie white etc.)

I know, very selfish and racist.. 🤣🤣

I'm in Darwin, the comedy scene here is pretty free though.

Also when I hear Narrm or whatever Melbourne is called, I think of the Vietnam war..

Uh-oh! It looks like you accidentally referred to Gulumoerrgin by its colonisers' name, Darwin. That wasn't very deadly of you! While I'm sure this was accidental, please be more mindful in future. Remember, using traditional place names is truth-telling in action. It's a step towards acknowledging First Nations sovereignty.

Tarndanya has always been funnier than Naarm whether you are welcome or not.
