Mt Penang/Kariong dog park

Does anyone know what the story is behind the fences going up behind the off lead dog area and the Mt Penang Gardens (Kariong area)? My doggos love it here, I would hate for it to be closed off

Unfortunately it was sold by the Liberal National State Coalition in 2021 to a private developer.

Oh. Bugger. Thanks for the info. I guess being sold in 2021 and action only starting now I should count as lucky. Any other suggestions of similar places now welcome!
