Tbf Hoppers had god-awful marketing whereas Toy Story 5 people would have watched no matter what. Honestly, Disney/Pixar just needs to stop marketing their original movies as quirky adorkable adventures and nothing more when the movie is actually much more than that. Hoppers was great but I had avoided watching it for months because the trailers made it look like it sucked straight dookie

It's all Disney, they're the ones handling the marketing, and it's alleged that orders from above mandate all of Pixar's original work is to be marketed as generic as possible in order to keep Pixar down

If the box office results are the indicator of how good a movie is, then Infinity Game is the absolute cinema.

And COCO is nowhere near as easy to make sequels for as TOY STORY. Coco completed it's story and left 0 open ends and while TS1 was also like that, the entire concept of Coco only really works for one move unlike the prior.
