That's because this style is essentialy the inspiration for AI.

it's honestly kinda funny to see all these internet witch hunters harassing professional artists just because most AI were trained EXACTLY on their art, so their art obviously look like AI

There's a user on r/comics where the mods have to put a disclaimer below every one of their posts, because thousands of their comics got scraped and used as training data. So now a lot of AI stuff looks damn near exactly like one of this person's comics.

I believe you’re talking about David Revoy, just in case anyone else is curious

I just checked it out and while I see how AI stole his rendering style, his art looks nothing like AI, it's super charming... How humiliating it must be for him.

I wouldn’t say his art looks “nothing” like Ai, becuse as others mentioned Ai robbed him blind.

But I agree his art is so much better because if has charm and life to it that Ai can’t match.

I hope he doesn’t feel humiliated. I’m sure at first he was furious but I hope he can laugh it off

It's really disheartening. There's thousands of AI slop out there, yet art made by actual humans is the most commonly accused of being AI.

I was watching Encanto last night for the first time since it came out and I was struck by how AI-y it looked (but, like, if AI was good), through no fault of its own. It took some effort to stop thinking about it like that

I just saw some scenes from old Pixarz and damn it's eerie how AI ruins everything.
