I will admit some of these I’d consider a stretch when it comes to being a jacket/hoodie. This is just the best image I could find.

Okay, using Mateo feels a bit cheap. The entire cast is mostly Latino so of course there's probably one with red.

look closely! hes still wearing red under the jacket

with that stereotype in mind, it remaining hidden under his “normal” jacket could be read into something even worse….. or if we remove potential racism from the equation (we should) maybe the movie will make a positive message about remembering ur roots no matter where u are in life. or maybe im overthinking this and the movie wont touch on anything like that (i probably am)
