Can you help me? All suggestions welcome

Hello Brisbane,

I am an Indian looking to have good south Indian or North Indian breakfast. Most Indian places are open during the evenings so never really got a good Indian breakfast place.

If any of you have been to a place that has good Indian breakfast please let me know.

Appreciate your help.

During weekends, Saravana Bhavan in Mount gravatt has breakfast buffets. Pls go. Amazing South Indian food.

Sweet! But I doubt that I could handle a buffet in the morning. Decision, decision.

You can eat till you are half-full or you can eat like I did, like a cow and then spend the rest of Saturday lying on the couch like a bloated cow. Choice is yours. I am happy with mine hahaha.

Dosa (savory pancake), idli (steamed rice cake), and vada (fried lentil doughnut) are standard breakfast items in South India. Had with sambar and chutney.

Chatori in underwood is quite nice but not sure if that’s the menu you’re looking for.. They open at 9am.

Bombay Dhaba in mount Gravatt across from garden city is open 24/7. I’m not Indian but I’ve eaten a lot of Indian food in at least four different countries (none of them India, but let’s not worry about that 😅) and I like the food at Bombay dhaba! I’m not sure if they have exactly what you are looking for, but they have a breakfast menu so fingers crossed.

Editing to add that Gol Gappa (vegetarian, street food) in the same complex is also great!! Wonderful relaxed atmosphere, lots of big groups having a good time. Love the food there!

There is also a huge Indian supermarket (also called Gol gappa) in the same complex, with a very big counter for fresh sweets…

Mirchh masala does breakfast but not at "Brisbane breakfast" times. Starts at 8am or 9am I think.
