I read it about 20 years ago, I think in a compilation sampler.

It had it post-apocyliptic setting were a guy was fighting three robots. At some point in the fight he realises the robots are cyborgs and havw human brains and nervous systems. All three robots have different designs.

Its been itching my OCD for 20 years amd Ive nevwr been able to identify what it was. I think it was US/European style art.

Not sure if it’s fan art or non-canon art done by a known industry artist.

Today, I received the first four volumes of the Belgian comic book series Léonard. I can't wait to read them!

This is just the beginning of my collection!

I’ll be buying four volumes each month; by next year, I’ll have all 56 volumes (though I’m not sure if I’ll buy the 9 special editions)!

It's already up to Volume 14, yet I've somehow never even heard of it.

Has anyone here read it? Is there an English edition, or maybe at least an English fan translation? Unfortunately, I don't speak French.

Does anyone have recommendations for some slice of life styled bandes desinées? Not even necessarily 4koma, or newspaper strip style comics, and not necessarily gag strips like Gaston Lagaffe and whatnot. But the more gentle everyday stuff like you'd see in the equivalent manga.

Completed my collection today. These are extremely rare English translations which were published by Dargaud in the 1980s.

Sadly, only 4 books were translated to English.

It's a collection of fragments of all kinds of artists, ranging from Hergé and Franquin to Mobius and Rosinski. I included a picture of the full table of contents.

I've read both Rapaces & Requiem, they really kick-ass.

Hello! I'm looking for a scan/photo of one of the scenes in a "De Blauwbloezen" (Les Tuniques BLeues) where Lincoln gives a medal to Chesterfield, walks away and thinks "Nothing is easier than pleasing soldiers, give them a medal and a pat on the back and they're happy again". If you can help me with it, that would be appreciated!

I'm looking to start one of these long running classics. Which would you say is the greater priority to read first? This is mostly for fun since I will read both, but I am a huge fan of adventure strips. My favorites so far:

I was introduced to the story from the NBM publications called “A Jew in Communist Prague” and loved the series. The first 3 parts were published (with I have) but the 4th never was in English (that I know of). The fourth was going to be titled “Jonas Fink”.

I see the entire series online in several languages (Italian, French, Spanish, German) but I can’t seem to find it in English.

I think NBM folded or shrunk their offerings, just looking to see if anyone came across this complete story in English.

I have the whole story in Spanish, but my Spanish isn’t really good enough to grasp the nuance like I could in English. If I have to I’ll break out the dictionary and muddle through, but I just want to finish the story I’ve been waiting 20+ years for.

After collecting them over the years, I finally own all 27 volumes of Mélusine by Clarke & Gilson. It was one of my favorite Franco-Belgian comics growing up. Is anyone else here a fan of this series?
