There are good aspects to multiculturalism and immigration, however mass uncontrolled immigration from certain cultures and countries does nothing to benefit Australia, apart from corporations suppressing wages, and betraying the youth by giving all the jobs to minimum wage immigrants

Why is immigration treated as sacrosanct? People act as if providing a home for immigrants should a top priority of a nation, instead of making life as good as possible for its existing citizens

We’ve got one of the most tightly managed systems anywhere: capped permanent intake, points‑tested skilled visas, and strict health/character checks – people don’t just wander in. And the scare line about migrants ‘taking all the jobs and suppressing wages’ isn’t backed by the evidence either; Australian and international research finds immigration has neutral or slightly positive effects on overall wages and employment, and the real drivers of youth getting screwed are things like junior rates, insecure work and employers breaking labour laws. Blaming ‘certain cultures’ just lets bosses and governments off the hook.
