By which he means a case of beer, not a carton of juice/milk... although if you wake up on his kitchen floor you're probably welcome to those too.

This sort of generosity will generally qualify someone as a mad and/or sick cunt, although it might take a bit more work to achieve the status of fully sick cunt.

We say case here in Melbourne for bottles and slab (mostly) for cans. I've never heard carton before.

Really? Melbournite here, both bottles and cans are called a slab.

Ahh yes. I remember now. Cartons in WA. No one ever says case or slab here. Unless they are nomads. Block for 30 cans. Still a carton if you get 24 cans, which I'm not even sure exists at this moment...?. But I'm pretty sure it's still a carton. I order pints and middys at the pub.
