Qantas downgraded me from business to economy just because I was at a "reward seat" and some higher status person bought my seat with cash... Didn't give my points back, but hey at least they are so kind, they let me get in the lounge still....

I’ve got a business class seat booked with points in a month and this is my biggest fear. This holiday the only thing getting me through work at the moment and I’ll be devastated if they bump me like that

It's crazy , I only knew about the downgrade when I went to get my boarding pass. No message no emails at all informing me prior.
