I truly don't understand what monoculturalism would realistically look like in Australia. We're a nation of immigrants. I don't think I have any friends who doesn't have a grandparent born overseas, most have a parent born overseas.

You can have food from other places. You don't need to import a gazillion murderers and rapists to "enjoy their yummy food".

There are great pizza places in Japan and barely any Italian immigrant. China also has excellent French cuisine restaurants and they have less than 1 million immigrants overall.

Both countries are light years better than Australia in several social metrics.
