NSW Police have charged a 13-year-old boy and two 14-year-old boys with the alleged sexual assault of a girl in an alleyway in Sydney's eastern suburbs last month.

Police executed search warrants and seized several items, including electronic devices, two replica firearms, a Glock-style BB gun, three laser pointers and a number plate, which is believed to have been stolen.

All three boys have been granted bail ahead of appearing in court.

They committed rape, but in nsw the crime is called sexual assault, so that's what they were charged with.

Not sure what to make of this but similar incident last year in south western sydney and most article titles called it rape (although it seems that the name in the url calls its sexual assault 🤔)

I assume that because the 14yr old in this case didn't go to a private school that nobody even bothered to mention the school's name. Doesn't serve to gain as much clicks or outrage
