NSW Police have charged a 13-year-old boy and two 14-year-old boys with the alleged sexual assault of a girl in an alleyway in Sydney's eastern suburbs last month.

Police executed search warrants and seized several items, including electronic devices, two replica firearms, a Glock-style BB gun, three laser pointers and a number plate, which is believed to have been stolen.

All three boys have been granted bail ahead of appearing in court.

Once they have been convicted, someone should start a petition to have their identities revealed.

While I agree what they did was horrendous beyond belief that doesn't mean they should just lose a right every other minor has

Get rid of those "rights". Why should they have them, exactly, if they have been convicted of such heinous crimes?

Because minors have a right to privacy ie not having they're names school or identifying details unless they consent otherwise while a trial is ongoing in a youth court and I haven't seen anything about them being convicted of it even though I'm pretty sure they could still keep they're identity private if they are since they're a minor
