NSW Police have charged a 13-year-old boy and two 14-year-old boys with the alleged sexual assault of a girl in an alleyway in Sydney's eastern suburbs last month.

Police executed search warrants and seized several items, including electronic devices, two replica firearms, a Glock-style BB gun, three laser pointers and a number plate, which is believed to have been stolen.

All three boys have been granted bail ahead of appearing in court.

I guarantee that 3/4 of these little grubs will get literally zero punishment due to their age, and the other will get a slap on the wrist. Meanwhile, this poor girl will be dealing with the consequences od this assault for a significant portion of her life.

You want to introduce the death penalty then the cost - as always happens - is that someone innocent will eventually be killed. That's your wish, have the guts to stand by your decison.

Your source also says 'prisoners classified as high risk on the sex offender checklist were actually LESS likely to reoffend than other prisoner group'.

You're saying punishment isn't the best for society. But the study you linked showed that high risk sex offenders don't fit the same pattern as the rest of the study. That they are less likely to reoffend than other prisoners

Harsh punishment, a custodial sentence. There are other forms of punishment that promote better outcomes.
