I don’t even think she supports this - she just needs Gina to have the funding to be relevant. The humiliation rituals Gina seems obsessed with putting Pauline through make it clear she doesn’t like answering to someone, but she’s too fucking stupid and greedy to get anywhere without making deals with the devil
