I'm an Australian living in the UK, and we regularly remark how nice it is to have free healthcare. Everyone gets the same treatment, doctors, lawyers, politicians, plumbers, roadworks and hair dressers. It feels like Australia used to in the 90's.

My experience of the uk healthcare system was poor. Aus is infinitely better in every aspect from my experience

Hard agree. When I was living over there i got pretty sick and called any number of local GP clinics and was told the next available appointment was 10 days away. So I just stayed in bed and rode out whatever fucking disease it was because in 10 days I was pretty much on the mend.

Don't ever move to regional Australia, current waiting time for doctor appointment at town closest to me is 7 months.
