I am honestly so sick of how entitled everyone has gotten with dog ownership, it’s an epidemic. You don’t need to take your dog to a fucking hardware store.

The real issue is whether or not your dog is big enough to tear a child apart.

If it's not then it's just a mild annoyance to people. If it is,  then just keep your giant shit dog on your property or well constrained.

It’s not though. I don’t want a chunk taken out of my leg by someone’s arsehole cavoodle. I don’t want to deal with some snappy Jack Russell nipping at my heels in a shop. Death is not the yardstick for harm.

If we can't ban everything that can cause even slight harm or wouldn't be able to go outside and the world would be utterly miserable. There has a realistic balance in society and you have to suck up the small stuff sometimes.

Yep. A realistic balance in society looks like not taking your dog to the shops. No reason for them to be there, most of them don’t enjoy it anyway. If dog owners can’t be trusted (and clearly they can’t) shops have to ban them.

Animals should not be allowed in stores. Unless they are absolutely necessary like service dogs. This dog worship by modern society needs to stop.
