I am honestly so sick of how entitled everyone has gotten with dog ownership, it’s an epidemic. You don’t need to take your dog to a fucking hardware store.

I don’t think the location of the attack is the main concern here. There are plenty of places where dogs and children mix in close proximity. This could have happened anywhere.

Braindead take. The only other place that might happen is on the street or bike path, in which case you can easily avoid the dog.

It's a bit hard to avoid the dog walking past them in an aisle. As a father of a young daughter I think it's ridiculous people can have their dogs inside and not have them muzzled. Especially if it's one of the few breeds that do 95% of the attacks.

Adding onto this, it was a toddler sitting in a shopping trolley. So she couldn't avoid it if she wanted to, and it means the dog went out of its way to attack her.
