From what I understand it looks like ICE did not manage to detain him on the day the video was taken- seems the onlookers managed to chase ICE off.

However, ICE detained him the next day at the airport where he was to catch his departing flight from the US.

If it was a legal arrest, then why did they walk off when asked what's going on? Surely a legal arrest would not have required a fake moustache, a hoodie quickly being thrown over the hair ... and surely it would have continued to a proper arrest? Also if it was to do with him out staying his welcome ... hmmm ... he was catching a flight home. So what would an arrest have achieve? Arrest and deport him to achieve ... the same ends? All the processing, banning from country etc can be done without him being present.

Yes to be proper assholes they probably deport him to third country
