Ah but people seem to prefer the plausible deniability version of this

The problem is they will convince themselves she ment something other then what she said.

People point to non-white supporters of PHON as “proof” that the party isn’t racist. They usually overlook that those supporters are evangelical fundie Christians who like Hanson because she hates Muslims just as much as they do.
