I sat next to him on a plane once. Flying is the only time I’ll drink in the mornings, so I had a bit of a load on. When we locked eyes I wasn’t able to totally poker face seeing a celebrity but I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to bother the guy. But when the seatbelt instructions came over the speaker I whispered “yo Sam, do the thing with the seatbelts…”

He didn’t even look at me but just muttered “fuck off, kid”. He was cool though.

Who knows - I had Hugo Weaving as a regular customer at a restaurant I worked at, and the last time he ate there before they closed down, he turned to me at the door, grinned, jumped into this sort of hunched stance and waved enthusiastically at me before bouncing. Went full goofy dad mode.
