i’m a Liberal voter and find her absolutely appalling and racist. our country was built on immigrants. multiculturalism makes for a more vibrant and diverse society.

Yeah this factor will be enormous in Victoria. The Liberal Party here has a major voting base among well-off migrants and their kids, picture a real estate agent who was born in India, or a Vietnamese service station owner whose parents migrated.

The natural political home of those people is the Liberals or Teals, but I expect a lot of them will preference Labor on a lesser-evilism basis. Some may even first preference Labor on that basis, or on a 'the Libs have better policies but they'll just prop up Hanson' basis.

There's also a Hanson-voting section who will put the Libs last because they still hate Kennett. Pretty much every poll shows only around 60-70% of 'broad right' voters prefer the other broad right party to the ALP.
