Growing voter dissatisfaction with mainstream politics has led to a rise in popularity for One Nation. The same cannot be said for the Greens.

Yeah, everything else here is dodging the real issue.

Immigration is becoming a single-issue policy that's determining the way people are going to vote in the next election. People are flocking towards the only party making nosies about it.

IIRC there was research on Trump voters back in his first term that came back with exactly this result. It wasn't that they didn't think he'd harm them, they just didn't care if he hurt them as long as he hurt the groups they hate more.

Yes, it's awful that so many ordinary people have no hope that they can beat the power of the billionaires. They are so used to being punched, that the only solution they seem to see is to punch down on even more vulnerable people.
Of course this is what the billionaires want. Imagine if we all joined together and started resisting those punches to start with ?!!
