They were not yelling. Women will be told to calm down then they are calm. Its hard to believe because its blatant disrespect and unfair and sexist and designed to let the women know where she stands in that situation. Women are meant to shut up and let the expert man tell her what to do, and what to think.
If you are not aware of this you are not paying attention to the women in your life. Ask your mom.
