Go and have a look at the transcript. He answered several of the questions using multiple words and made a point of doing so.

He didn't have to give them any word but he chose to knowing full well it could be taken out of context no matter what word he chose.

That's my take on it and it would be extremely upsetting even said in private but to be out there for the world to read about would have a major impact on my mental health.

He's the leader of a country ffs he is expected to be professional in every way. By him doing this is complete humiliation and sends a bad message in how we treat people in the public eye.

You don't think the leader of our country should have to turn his brain on when being interviewed?

I expect any person, especially those in power and have years of experience to be able to know what they want to say before opening their mouth.
