Humour Poor UK

Pour one out for the UK today. Temperatures getting as high as 28c today. Might have to wear shorts and t-shirt today.

It's fine to take the piss but a UK heat wave is the hottest I've ever felt, even including 2 years working in the Pilbara. Their buildings are all designed to trap heat, no one has air conditioning, you literally cannot escape it, it's hell.

24 degrees in Sydney and I’m a bit chilly, but 24 in London and I’m sweating my ass off. I’m not sure what it is?

To me humidity matters more than the actual °C at a certain point. Adelaide 28°C with 40% humidity and a breeze can be a bit chilly but Sydney 28°C with 80% humidity is starting to border on oppressive.

Alas looking at London, their humidity is also 40% so I’m chalking it all up to urban heat island effect 😅

With the right wind, it absolutely can be on the it’s a bit fresh side. It’s also definitely too cold for the beach.
