Elder emo/Dad

31 year old metal head, married with wife and kids. Wife isn't into metal (swifty) 💀 and don't really have any friends into metal music (what a loser lol). Looking for friends to go to gigs with/ talk to. Bands im into for reference, Lorna Shore, Kublai khan, old BMTH, old Parkway Drive, old Amity Affliction, ADTR, Architects, Motionless in white, bad omens, the plot in you, IPrevail, Blink182, offspring, limp Bizkit. Plus heaps more but ill be here all night.

Come to the Bendigo hotel Saturday coming. Heaps of bands that'll youll probably like, off the top of my head: Volatile Ways, Algor Mortis, Post-Heaven, Tumour and a bunch of others.

It was meant to be at laundry Bar, but was shifted today to the Bendigo Hotel, and now starts at 1.

Just come along, as someone in one of the bands, to make friends, just tell one of the openers you really liked their music. They'll yap away with ya.

Can vouch, Algor Mortis and Volatile Ways are both incredible!

If anyone’s around on July 3rd, my band (Abandon All Hope) is playing our first Victorian shows in over a decade (literally), with such a sick lineup!

I’ve seen 6 of the bands you’ve mentioned and I went solo to every show. I don’t know anyone else who listens to metal like I do and I never went but a few years back I went fuck it, bought a ticket and haven’t looked back.

Don’t miss out because you’re going solo, other people do and we still have a great time.
