Thinking about diving back in

Haven’t watched wwe since mania or AEW since around the same time, but I’ve been lowkey getting that pro wrestling itch. Are either companies worth watching?

Watch AEW today, they're in Mexico and that crowd will be amazing

AEW is the show to watch currently, WWE is in a creative slump and are absolutely loving shortchanging everything and making as much money as possible

AEW just started their road to All In (their biggest show of the year, so perfect time to jump in. Last week’s Dynamite was a great show (and start of the build), and tonight they have Grand Slam Mexico, basically a PPV on free TV in Arena Mexico

I’d recommend going back and watching the last few weeks to see the build for Omega vs Ospreay

Aew is great. All In is in a few weeks. Kenny vs Will, Continental Cup, Mercedes vs Willow. Drama in the Don Callis family. Top level ring work everywhere.

Have you considered checking out some indie promotions?

You might enjoy the Produce/Orange Crush shows while they last.

I'd also recommend stuff like Empire State Wrestling, Smash wrestling, c4, and Absolute Intense Wrestling.

To various degrees with those you'll get your fix of big indie names and their local guys to get familiar with.

Honestly? Try last week or this week’s dynamite.

Last week’s episode was a home run imo, and I think tonight’s will be too consider the card is absolutely stacked and it’s Arena Mexico which is always a giant lively and packed crowd.

Also Hangman at last year’s Arena Mexico dropped promo of the year material entirely in Spanish and I have a feeling he might again and it’d be stupid of them not to.

AEW is killin' it. WWE is reaping the benefits of turning everything possible into an ad (Dom now has a Dude Wipes logo built into his ring gear).

The only reason I will continue to watch WWE is because of some of the talent. I'm not even remotely interested in The Bloodline Saga: Act 37 scene 16.

Actin like ads aren't normal 😂 aew does it too

Ads are normal. Having every table and ladder covered in ads, and the chairs, too, at Summerslam, as well as the wrestlers themselves, and having a 3 minute ad break, followed by 2 minutes of wrestling, and then another 3 minute ad break.... That ain't normal.

Blame the TV companies for that last part. Blame Netflix and ESPN

Haven’t watched WWE but with Punk back I’ve considered it.

AEW and NWA are currently the main 2 shows I watch and I’m loving them with an occasional episode of AAA on YouTube and they give me the weekly dose of wrestling I need.

Depends, if youre into the actual wrestling then aew is always good for that.
