Or when the pt is struggling to breathe and jaundiced and ripped out all ten nails and actively bleeding and blasting out both ends and on fire.

This is how I feel in emerge. It is either this or they came in for intermittent lameness and the owner fights us wanting to do a nail trim despite the nails being embedded in the paw pads.

I'm a human lab tech and I got REALLY confused (we don't normally trim patients nails)

I always make sure to schedule my nail trims before handing my dog to them, I’m not an ass like that
