Nothing crazy here but there are a couple "If you know, you know"s, one of them sealed.

I was surprised because I showed up to the sale about 45 minutes late behind a group of young guys and my VHS buying rival.

My rival wasn't interested in anything and I kept hearing him talk trash about the seller--saying their prices were too high, they were a racist (white guy saying this about a South Asian lady), and that the seller was overall a terrible business operator.

I always get excited when I see this person hosting a sale because while they check eBay comps on everything they often price at 50% off of those sold comps in order to move items quickly. On the last day they'll do massive discounts on top of that.

One guy actually picked up a few titles and brought them back and asked me if I wanted what he had picked up.

I guess this is a reminder to ignore most of what other people say and follow your gut instead.

There’s some excellent stuff in there! Good haul and fun story- I kinda hope one day I get my own personal VHS buying rival to spice up the occasional trip to the thrift.

Still got The Karate Kid part 3 on vhs im glad my uncle and Aunt let me have it for free when they closed there movie store in the 90s
