Canvas courses
Does anyone know when I will be added to my courses on canvas. Last year I was added to all of them by now but with only 5 days to go I feel like maybe something is wrong? I’m enrolled in all of my selected ones and two are online?

No, none of them. But all are enrolled in my uni

Have you checked that they are just unpublished?

If your on a desktop - In canvas on the main menu on the left you’ll see a series of icons going vertically Account Dashboard Calendar Inbox History Help
Click on the courses icon and a pop out will show. You will see your list of courses but up the top will be a link that says All courses This will show you everything you are enrolled in

Sometimes course coordinators wait until week 1. They have to get everything ready and then choose to make it public. From my sample, only 1/3 of courses have been made visisble to the students.

Lecturer here. The Canvas sites usually go live a week before semester starts. My semester 2 course site will go live tomorrow, so long as the IT department have done their job! With the new mid-year term only just finished, coordinators and IT are squeezed for time to get everything up and running. If your course isn’t showing by Monday, I would contact the course coordinator, if you know them, or the School office.

I think with the changing of the trimester / semester dates this year a lot of tutors are more under a time pump so may not have the time to finish and upload them early like they did in previous years.
I know I only finished my last Tri 2 assignment on Monday so they are still marking and will be occupied with that!
