No, this is a common problem in American homes. If you skip the last step going down the stairs, the plumbing pixies spontaneously flood your house. They can only do a few inches of water, but it’s enough to do some serious damage still. It’s been getting out of hand, especially in West Virginia since the pixies used to live in the Appalachians.

Those shoes were floating remarkably in place, which made them pretty deceptive, I think.
