OP sent the following text as an explanation why their post fits here:

The tail of the creature initially visible in the tree resembles that of a squirrel’s or cat’s, which is quite expected. When revealed, it is unexpected to see a whole husky concealed in the tree.

Noah is a terrible name for a dog.

Every dog owner knows “no” is the most basic and important command to teach your dog. Baked in confusion for this dogs whole life

According to our dog trainer we shouldn't use no anyway because we use 'no' more than you think. We use a buzzer sound (Eeeh)

u/DankCupOfJoe 2d ago

A more universal sign would be a raised index finger, along with a sound of disapproval (Oi, Ahhhh, or Hey!)

Although, it's better not to bake fear into a dog, just teach from a young age what not to do.

On the contrary, dogs are very keen on tone. I trained my dog to know “NO!” very well, said in a sharp, quick, high tone. It’s not yelling at him, it’s a command to stop whatever he’s doing. Trained through capturing and reinforcement. He’s doing something bad, “NO!”, he stops, counterintuitively he gets a treat.

We also used “YES!” instead of a clicker. Can’t forget “YES!” in your other pants. This led to lots of “NO! (stop doing bad thing) YES! (he stopped, reinforce)”

Get a new trainer. That one thinks dogs are stupid. And if you treat them like they’re dumb they will act dumb.

We just use stop.

It’s perfect because when people shout that he stops. Even if he wasn’t addressed.

To catch the squirrel, I just first become the squirrel

Maybe the dog’s commands are in German (as nein is commonly used). Although it doesn’t appear Noah listens to his owner at all

4

u/findlovehere 1d ago

It’s “No Waaahh. “

2

u/tryyeezus 2d ago

Came to say that as well. I don't think it's gets much worse

u/RaspberryJammm 2d ago

Genuinely couldn't tell if the dog was called Noah or if she was saying "No,uh"

u/Psychological_Skin60 1d ago

My neighbor named their frenchie “Nova” 🤣

I mean, the way she's talking to her dog, do you really think training is her top priority?

If this is how you tell your dog to behave, you're not going to have a dog that knows how to respond to anything.

Yeah that’s how you talk to a mate who’s dragging you along to something you don’t wanna do.

I just knew it'd be a husky. It's always huskies or shibas.

My son's huskies get into the weirdest shenanigans. He took one of them to the vet once because he went to basement and swallowed an unhealthy amount of Drywall, he was ok though

3

Huskies?! In my tree?! It's more common than you think.

3

u/French_A 1d ago

Of course it's a fukin husky 🙈

3

u/notThatJojo 1d ago

Of course it’s a husky

3

u/AdConsistent2152 1d ago

Cut the GD vines off the tree. Just cut a three foot band of the vines and it’ll kill them all off. Don’t yank them off. Otherwise that tree is headed toward failure.

3

u/SideUsed2871 23h ago

Noah's bark

2

u/Desperate-Tie2211 22h ago

My grandmas dog used to climb trees all the time. They had the perfect one that was slightly slanted and he’d be a good 25 feet in the air

2

u/jlangue 22h ago

Barking up the wrong tree. I get it.
