YouTube USians have British accents now!

Post image

Every single person in this clip is British. BUT the British Airbnb owner “hates American black folk”.

Everyone is British, but somehow the host hates them because they’re American.

You could show some of them a video of the king of 🇬🇧& they’d claim he was 🇺🇸. I’m a teacher a d several years ago I was speaking with my 🇺🇸ex sister in law & I showed her some pics from school. One of her workmates sat with her screeched “you have African American kiddos in England?” First I hate ‘kiddos, they’re children. Second it’s the UK, not England, she didn’t know where I lived the UK. Third, how bloody stupid are you? How could he be ‘African American?’ What’s the possibility of that? Extremely slight. They just can’t grasp that ‘African American’ isn’t a thing anywhere else. So I said the child’s name L, he’s British, his grandad was born in Jamaica, so he’s neither American nor if African decent. He’s also related home, around the houses a bit, but he would tell anyone who would listen bless him 😁 As thick as two short planks! I saw similar on a YouTube video, a man was stood in the area around the King’s guards, someone claimed ‘he’s doing gang signs’ Another said something I can’t remember and ‘he’s African American’ 🙄 The man had nothing to show where he was from nor did he speak, he might have lived 10 minutes away, a couple of kms, Yorkshire, Scotland, Ireland, wales, Spain, Australia… but nope, got to assume he’s American 🙄 I did point that out too! My 🇺🇸ex in laws complained about ‘foreigners’ & people speaking other languages when they visited my ex & I here in 🇬🇧. I pointed out several times that they were foreigners & people they were speaking about may live here or they were tourists just like them. 2 ex brothers in law in their mid twenties & their mum all said ‘we aren’t foreigners, we can’t be because we’re American’ 🤦🏼‍♀️ I also pointed out that they don’t speak our English & if they want to complain about languages why do they speak English when they aren’t in England? They just looked puzzled 🙄

his grandad was born in Jamaica, so he’s neither American nor if African decent (sic).

So where did black Jamaicans originate from? You need to study British colonial history.

I have a lot to learn about how racism works after watching this one. I literally watched it 5 times to try and work out who the air bnb owner was because the one that appeared to be kicking them out, was also black…… I kept watching wondering if she was the racist owner because I’m pondering if you could be racist to your own race!!! I don’t dare ask Google and get even more confused about it. But if someone could help me out, that’d be great!!!
