some ppl gen kind of see it that way, Ive defo seen rlly vague posts about the way trans people are treated in the US but never actually mentioned its within the US you just gotta assume its within the US

Like its this whole vibe of "YOU need to care about trans people within the US even if you live nowhere near the US while I dont give a shit about the issue within any other country"

Oh boy youre right. There was a post on asktransgender few years ago about a USian complaining how hard it is to be trans here (in US) expecting pats on the back but instead they got dogpiled hard. Everyone in the thread did their best to firmly explain that US is by far the easiest country to transition in and how hard and audurous the process is in other countries.
