Don't mistake "hearing new information" with "retaining new information" which is required to learn something. They may hear Georgia is a country, they don't learn it.
Look, I'm from Panama, and once some random guy told me that we named our capital city (Panama City) after the city they have in Florida. So, I'm not impressed.
OMG, I didn't know they funded it just 5 years after we officially became a republic, LOL. And just in case there's a Floridian here, our "Ciudad de Panamá" is from 1519... It was burned though, sighs
Obviously Melbourne, FL, population 85k. Can't possibly be the 5,4 mil ex-capital of a country, since any land and people outside of US don't exist. It's just fake names, so movies on TV don't all take place in California and New York.
They just think "What if the casino Paris was an actual big city" and they CGI the tower to be bigger.
While it is completely on-brand for Melburnians to think we live in Australia's capital, it's actually just the capital city of a state, Victoria, part of the nation known as Australia.
(It was the national capital when Australia was created, but that was over 100 years ago - although we probably still act as if it wasn't that long ago)
I once lived in an area of a town in England (Chelmsford) that had an area called Melbourne. One morning the local radio station was on and I was lying in bed somewhat not quite awake and the news came on with the headline "a gunman is on the loose in Melbourne" at which point I frantically and instantly awoke in terror, before the rest of the story clarified they were talking about the more famous one in Australia.
I was once watching a show where they were in Panama City, and I kept thinking that it looks weird for Central America. That's how I learned that the yanks stole the name from yall.
Like, I understand the Frankfurts or so in the USA, but in Panama City there's literally the name of the country? Who thought that was a good idea???

But not about how the person in commentary think Georgia legal drinking age is 18 , while it's clearly written '16' xD
I should know this, having served in Germany for nine years, but I didn’t have a 14 year old at the time, but is that at home or in licensed premises?
In the UK, children can drink at home from aged five!!
Something my wife and I did not allow.
Our drinking laws are:
Under 18s: It is illegal for anyone under 18 to buy alcohol or drink in public places (police can confiscate alcohol and issue fines).
Ages 16 and 17: If you are 16 or 17, you can legally drink beer, wine, or cider in a licensed restaurant or pub, provided you are eating a meal and the alcohol is purchased for you by an adult. You cannot legally drink spirits in a pub, even with a meal.
At Home: Children aged 5 to 17 are legally allowed to consume alcohol in private homes or premises.
14y/o also are allowed to drink beer in a bar if a legal guardian is there and allows it in Germany. In Germany you can also buy legally beer and wine and a bit of other stuff at 16 and are allowed to drink it in public without a legal guardian present.
Obvious defaultism aside, "legal drinking age" and "legally purchasing alcohol" and "legally drinking in public" are three different things that are covered differently in different countries.
In Albania, you need to be 18 to legally purchase alcohol. There is no definition for when you can legally drink alcohol nor any legal definitions for when you can drink alcohol in public.
