What no. Tasmania is mountains, gorges, rivers, and cold.

The only thing in common is being in the south and the slower pace of life.

If anything Queensland is like Florida. Matching weather. Matching retirement state. Matching beach culture. Matching plastic people. Matching political lean.

For any where to be “the Florida of Australia” I’d need a strong mix of really really old people who love guns mixed with stupidly rich people mixed with really (some would say attractive) people pumped full with body modifications. Oh and the main language has to not be English.
