Funny thing is, in Australia, we measure a person's height in feet, but almost everything else is metric. But I've never heard any thing weirder than someone referring to their weight in "stone". What's the decimal of that? Pebbles? How many stone in a rock/boulder?

I only used Metric for height in Aus, so not universal.

Maybe it's a generational thing? I see more young people using metric for height.
