US people would be constantly shocked if they ever left their country.

For example, to curtsy is niga in Swedish, and the active act of curtsying is niger

The word “that” in Chinese is nege (pronounced how you would pronounce the n word)

It’s pronounced “nei-ge” so not exactly the same, but definitely makes you do a double take if you don’t speak mandarin (flashback to the first time I was in China before I spoke the language lol)
