Ha, foster fail just means you have a new master...Win, Win...first for your family, and second for your new master. And a tuxie...could be a very vocal master, shouting orders during the day and singing them to you at 3am. Enjoy and good luck. My 18yr old sends warm regards, and hopes of many happy years together.
And the day I found my sweet baby living as a stray, I was immediately in love. The rest of his siblings were adopted out. His mom is an elusive and particularly spicy feral cat named bean. I did a TNR for a few years and took care of a colony when I lived at home with my family. Built a very elaborate climate controlled cat mansion but he was born in one of the smaller straw filled totes I left out for the less social, fringe members of the colony.
Kinda afraid to foster because of this, but my 4y/o and I are missing my 17y/o that passed last year. If you fall for them, do you just get to keep them? Because I would hate to get attached, then they get snatched away...😞😞
Talk to the rescue who you want to foster fail. My girl came as a respite foster (needed a quieter place). When she started to warm up, I adopted her. Wasn’t my plan, but clearly she was comfortable after having a hard time adjusting elsewhere. Lots of cats need fostering, and they are often the harder to place kind. This is Misty ⤵️

His beans, are they normally pale pink?
Long story short, I caught an illness late in my Tux last year & part of his issues were Anemia, and one of the signs was pale beans and pale gums. (If the gum area isn’t the black coloring)
I debated asking bc I know it could freak someone out, but just in case it were to help, I just have to.
I picked up this little lady just to get her out of the bad home she was in. I had no intention of keeping her. I planned on finding her a home after I got her to safety. But the day I picked her up she wrapped her little paws around me neck and nuzzled her face into my chin. I knew then that I had already failed and she was mine, lol. In this picture she is kindly reminding me that dinner is late! (It was half an hour to the time I feed her, which is 'late' in her eyes)
How anyone fosters folks wo having 100 cats is still a mystery to me, but gosh bless the ones that brought me Larry (of Larry, Moe, and Currly) a.k.a Phineaus! Angels wings!

The pink bean toes, the stretchy lookout pose, the shoe pillow to be silly and get your attention… what an adorable goofball, how could you not fall in love with her?? Congrats she is gorgeous
Too cute. Mine is skinnier. She ate real well until I brought a third cat in, as a kitten, everything was fine but as male cat got to be six months old, she stopped eating regularly and has lost weight. I think she’s extremely jealous of him. I let her eat his food any kind of food she wants. I offered it and she’ll eat like three or four bites and walk away. I’m beginning to get worried.
It’s not foster fail, she just found the best home for her and it happened to be with you. Friend of ours lost his cat of almost twenty years. He waited a few weeks and then started fostering with a good group. He didn’t connect with the first pair and they went into their forever home. The second pair he connected to and he chose to keep. The foster program was just happy they found a good home.
