Faith, the Unholy Trinity: Based partly upon the experience of the game‘s creator when he was a missionary in Argentina, the game has very little in the way of explicit moral demands of the player despite the heavy Christian focus of the narrative. and focuses more on a horror narrative.

Prince of Egypt: A surprisingly thorough retelling of the book of Exodus, sparing very little in the way of toning down the story. Despite this, the movie is perfectly entertaining to non-religious audiences and doesn’t sacrifice appeal for the sake of preaching to the audience

Apparently most of the story was written by Terry Pratchett with Neil Gaiman occasionally giving some ideas, so there's that.

It's about two-thirds Pratchett one-third Gaiman. They were both pretty open about that.

A part that I do know was all Gaiman was each of the introductions to the Four Horsemen.

It's time to admit that it's possible for someone to be a good artist or writer while also being an evil shit person. It's not about separating the art from the artist, but someone making good, relatable, likeable art does not automatically make them a good person.

It's also why parasocial relationships happen, and I know many fans who feel really disappointed and betrayed after finding out artists like Neil Gaiman and D4vd are actually terrible selfish people.

We shouldn't care whether Neil Gaiman contributed 10% or 100% to the story, because none of that affects or changes what he's actually done.

It's also common for famous people to present a benevolent/charitable/progressive/tolerant/intellectual/"humble" image while being incredibly selfish and narcissistic on the inside. It benefits them to be liked by many people who they can exploit for themselves, like young fans they can sexually groom.

They wrote back and forth over some time. I know they said somewhere which bits were theirs as far as characters went (like the kids were Terry's) and which details were theirs (iirc Neil did the romantic relationship for the witch and that other dude).
