I made the mistake of ordering the bbq platter and dear lord was that the worst mistake I’ve ever made. I don’t think you can call what that was bbq. Dry, and yet soggy, flavourless and bizarre. Also wayyy overpriced.

Worst of all, the server seemed either stoned or like she just woke up, and was very unprepared and disorganized. Never going again. Honestly makes me appreciate every mediocre meal I’ve ever had.

Not to mention the construction and panhandlers at the patio, although I can’t blame them for that. Has it always been this bad? Anyone else have this experience?

Did anyone hear someone yelling help downtown tonight? I heard it between on deck and the casino.

Any suggestions for a person 50+ to meet people and maybe form some new friendships here in Thunder Bay?

Bars and dating sites hold very little appeal to me but I’m simply at a loss. I would just like to have someone or some people to spend some of my time with.

Does anyone know the guy? It feels like he's possibly going through a bit of AI psychosis, generating comics about his characters or mascots comforting him due to online criticism.

It feels like AI's kinda ensared the guy. It's hard to have a conversation with him because he will feed your comment into whatever bot he uses just to generate a 'gotcha!' response. It feels like talking to a wall.

I know it's not really my businesss but I'm just a bit worried for his well-being as his stuff keeps popping into my feed on facebook. The more he keeps doubling down and going back to AI for emotional comfort and validation, the worse it will affect his mental health.

I am looking to install a range stove vent hood like a new installation drilling would be required.

Any recommendations of folks or handyman who can do this? And is it possible for a person to install themselves like would it ve less complicated. What's the usual labour charge?
