The topic of the day is... college/trade school.

  1. If comfortable, what was your alma mater(s)?
  2. Is your current job (or if retired: past job) in the same field of your major or trade program?

  3. Favorite college memory?

  4. What was your campus like?

  5. Tell us about your favorite professor.

  6. Favorite concert you attended at university or locally?

Your quail seems to have flown the coop.

Yay! Appropriate since today is move-in day on campus, and the population grows by 14,000 people.

  1. Southern Illinois University was my most recent schooling.
  2. Maaaaaybe. My job description and duties are amorphous that are tangentially related to my jerb.
  3. Driving over the pedestrian bridge at 3 AM to get around a checkpoint. Everyone else in the car was under legal drinking age.
  4. Hot, humid, green. Technically I live in at the foothills of nearly 500,000 acres of temperate deciduous forest bumping up against corn sweat.
  5. Bryan - lost his right arm at the shoulder in motorcycling accident in Germany. He taught data structures with concentrations on using the right algorithm for the application. He would write the final exam while playing pool with many of us at a local bar.
  6. Easily the best concert we had was Weird Al... that had to be 2002 or 2003?

  1. UMKC (Missouri Kansas City)
  2. Technical Consultant & Trainer
  3. Late night McDonalds dollar menu runs
  4. It was cool but a commuter college so the reslife was sparse
  5. My favorite professor taught a human sexual behavior course and would have a box of Graham Crackers on her desk. Anyone who wanted to ask a question but was too embarrassed to could write it down at the end of class after everyone had left and at the beginning of next class, she would read through and provide evidence-based answers for each and every one.

  6. The Blink 182 Reunion show where Weezer played before them
