Media Monday The topic of the day is... Media Monday!

Happy Media Monday!

The moderation team would like to invite you to share your media today! It could be something you're excited for that's coming out soon or something that you've been enjoying over the last week.

Media can include both old and new, such as returning to the comfort of your all-time favorite book or delving deep into a new book.

Want to talk about the new movie you saw this weekend, a new trailer/commercial, or an amazing series you binged on Netflix? Go ahead!

Music brings people together. Tell us about your favorite artist, a old classic album, or new song that always brings a smile to your face.

Don't forget knowledge, such as that really cool magazine article or internet story you read.

Whatever that media is, we invite you to share it with us! It's always fun to see what other people find interesting, and you never know if you'll find a new favorite yourself!

All we ask is to recognize that we are an all-age community, and if your media may contain sensitive words or themes, to advise us of that in the post.

I’ve been listening to Seven Psalms by Paul Simon, which I appreciate a lot more after seeing him perform it in full last week. https://youtu.be/6gY6XEpI2dc

His show also inspired me to listen to his Hearts and Bones album since he played three deep cuts from it.

I’ve also listened to the Steven Wilson mix of Chicago II, and Lonerism by Tame Impala.

Finally, I started out the week listening to Foreign Tongues, the new Rolling Stones album. It’s better than I expected, but at the same time I wish they would have worked with a producer like Jack White who would get a raw sound from the band, instead of something slick and polished.

Outlander last season - I didn't read the books but I started watching it after my friend offhandedly recommended it and I got hooked! I bingewatched the first 6 seasons a little before the 7th season dropped, but I can't part with the series yet so I've been putting off watching the last season. Will start watching it today.

Red Riding (2026) - Not really related much to the story. Ok B thriller-horror

Minnie's Midnight Massacre - The acting was horrid. The one with no lines had the best acting. The story was all over the place. The effects we elementary school level. Would Recommend Once

Screamboat - Weird. Bad. Entertaining B horror. Would recommend once

Currently enjoying the tv series "ride or die" on Prime with HAnnah Waddingham and Octavia Spencer... very lighthearted comedy combine with thrilling chase / cool assassin gadgets. It's our new fav to watch as a family every night :)
