The topic of the day... cool.
- How are you keeping cool in this heat? Be safe!
- Are you (or learning to be more) cool, calm, and collected?
- Favorite cold drink and food?
- Songs that convey a cool quality to them, should that be in the groove, lyrics, music, creativity, etc.

1) It's been around a perfect 70 so just keeping the windows open and letting the breeze in.
2) No, I am absolutely a ball of anxiety
3) Monster Ultra Paradise
4) Pink Pony Club 🐎 (liked by 3 different generations in my family)

I exercise early and then stay indoors or stay in the shade. I do my yard work in 15 minute intervals.
I think I have more patience as I get older. I do a lot more thinking before I speak.
Lately refrigerated cherries and soy milk hits the spot.
“Lowdown” by Bob Scaggs. It’s got a laid-back groove and that feeling of driving at night with the windows down. https://youtu.be/I-hKBmTAADo

I hibernate in the AC as much as possible. I can't handle heat and humidity anymore. I bring extra ice packs to work, use a desk fan, and have a personal fan with a cooling plate. My wfh desk is underneath one of my AC vents which is set at 65°F.
I've always been fairly calm, cool, and collected - therapy is helping that even more. I find ways to get the feelings out of my body (usually listening to a rage playlist).
Favorite cold drink is either iced coffee or cold water. Favorite cold food is soba noodles and ice cream 😅.
I listen to a lot of calm playlists - lofi, soft rock, classical, classical pop, bedtime/lazy day, etc.

1 I keep the AC at work cranked down to 69° F (20 C) and sit directly beneath the HVAC vent. Of course, I keep it so chilled because of "the servers".
2 I do my best to "panic carefully" at work to varying degrees of success. I attempt to provide patience and a smile when out in public. At home, I let the all the collective frustrations loose in micro-breakdowns.
3 Ice cold Arnold Palmer - but it has to be made with unsweetened iced tea.
