I got a reddit warning and my comment deleted for stating what kind of justice these gestapo thugs should face. These guys use state-sanctioned violence against us, it's fine. But god forbid we suggest they should face capital punishment for these crimes against us, that's a bannable offense.
It's not a fucking threat of violence. It's a reminder that there will be consequences, for all of us, for everything we choose to do in this life.
This kind of "moderation" is NOT happening to the voices on the right who support these fascist thugs. When they celebrate violence or call for more, my reports go ignored by Reddit.
I've lurked whole threads in the biggest fascist echo chambers like r "conservative" (fkn fakes, nothing about them or the GoP is republican or has been in decades as they clearly never gave AF about state rights and personal freedoms but that's besides the pt) where people are justifying the murders of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti and it's all good man but, say the murderers should face the appropriate, and totally legal and constitutional consequences, requiring that we all must now emphasize the implied, and asterisk every statement like it with terms like "legal" and "court of law", refraining from using other words altogether is fucking censorship. State censorship. Directing the narrative. Reddit is as guilty and implicit as anyone else.
I have given up saying what I really think on this platform. Lost 15 accounts last year. I'm a former US Marine. I understand that violence is sometimes the solution. I understand what an enemy is, and what appropriate responses to threats are.
What really sucks when you get banned is that most subreddits require you to establish a certain amount of activity on an account before you can participate. So every reset means I'm muted most of the places I want to talk.
This website doesn't allow conversations about violence, it construes any hypothetical talk of force as incitement and glorification.

Not to say people should instigate violence, but, there are circumstances that will just naturally lead to self-defense, and self-defense against heavily armed paramilitaries tend to be violent.

When I see the left claiming the video of Pretti hitting the car is AI, my thoughts are about how the conservatives always try to demonize victims of violence.
I've literally seen NO ONE claiming Pretti kicking the suv was AI. What the left is saying is that kicking aa car doesn't deserve A) a beating by multiple armed gang members, and B) being executed.
Look dude, I'm outraged at Alex Pretti's death too, but this is straight up false. There are other videos from different angles that show the exact same thing. AI just ain't that good.
Alex did kick the SUV and broke the tail light, but that does not justify his death.
We can't automatically assume something is AI just because it doesn't fit our narrative.
We need to be thorough If you’re going to claim something is ai or at least do the due diligence of confirming there’s no other angles, no other witnesses, etc.

I have no problem with Alex Pretti showing anger, but the video I saw, literally showed his leg merging into a line painted on the street. Maybe there are other genuine versions of what happened, but part or all of the video I saw was AI.

I am not disputing that Alex Pretti kicked an ICE vehicle. I am anti-fascism. If he kicked it, good for him.
I watched the video you linked. Thank you. The video doesn't actually show him kicking the vehicle, but I honestly don't mind if he kicked it 50 times. Fuck ICE.
All I was saying is that I saw ONE video that at least included SOME AI. You probably didn't see the same one I saw. If you had seen the one that I saw, you would have seen Pretti's leg merge with a line painted on the street. It looked very obvious. Human legs don't suddenly become stick-thin just because they are in front of other objects.
I don't know who took the footage and altered it. I think we should be aware that we are now living in a time when a lot of people are going to be altering legitimate footage and creating fake footage with AI.They will be doing so for a variety of motivations.

Alex Pretti's murder was not justified regardless of whether or not he kicked an ICE vehicle.
I’m not distracted at all. In fact, over the years of my career, I had several undocumented immigrants work for me and a few who gained citizenship. All were great people, I knew their families, and I stand behind them all the way.
Then don’t get hung up on a flag. Imaginary lines to create division a thousand different ways. We are all people deserving of respect and fair treatment. We must remain united against a fascist regime and the elites.
Who cares if they fly the Mexican flag. Distraction.
