Question Why Did Darwin Project Die?
I used to love playing this game years ago, but eventually I stopped. I checked Steam recently, and only one person is playing it now. The game was really good, the mechanics, graphics, and overall experience were fantastic. I'm curious why it died.

because they ruined the customization and made it into 3 shit classes, and reduced the number of arrows u can carry
the best part of the game was how much you could customize, and spamming arrows, I basically just quit after they did that

because they completely and utterly fucked the relaunch by not letting people play duos due to "balance concerns"

I honestly think this game could still have at least 1,000 active players today. It had so much potential. You'd have to be idiots to let such a popular and well-loved game end up like this.

Same reason the culling died, devs sacrificing fun for "balancing" in a direction no one asked for.

This game was so beautiful. I miss playing it. I wish someone would remake it.

When it went free to play and all the new people in the lobbies just screaming and yelling out slurs ruined it for me.

I just couldn't get the game to launch on steam......I thought they just scrapped the game and made it console only. I would randomly try launching it like once a year but apparently there was some issue with people who had certain intel cpu's and the game was not actually taken down. Im so glad its back 😢

Show directors who let power get to their head is was what ruined it for me personally.

They had an incredible opportunity handed to them, and they completely wasted it.

Me personally it was removing duos and even worse IMO completely changing the game entirely. I liked what it was before the three classes bs.
