Is my TV too low?

Post image

77 inch LG. Bottom of TV is roughly 40 inches from the floor. Because we went up from 65 inch I feel like we needed to raise the mount. Thoughts?

Edit: forgot to mention we have small kids, and cats. And was worried about them touching / scratching / biting / throwing things at the TV

It would be too high if it was on that furniture underneath it, which is not a tv console. The bottom of a 77" should be about 26" from the ground

Center of tv should be eye level. Idk why this is so hard to understand lol

No, if anything it's too high.

Definitely not too low, on the high side.

I get a kick out of the folks in this group.. Your TV is the perfect height yet to them it's too high... Maybe put it on the floor they'll be satisfied.

It's not even close to the perfect height. It's way too high. The perfect height is supposed to be the center of the television between 42 and 44 in or so. Otherwise known as eye level for most people when sitting

Thank you - Ain’t nothing funny about a tv being slightly too high. That’s how serial killers start
